Carole has worked in finance and accounting since before 1990. She is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a CPA in the U.S. She worked with Arthur Andersen & Co. for five years working with high technology, pre-IPO companies. She then went to Cygnus Solutions, where she was the Director of Finance, responsible for the full financial operations, planning, and finance department of the company, and a member of the senior management team. Most recently Carole served as Director of Finance for Ajuba Solutions, where she again was in charge of Accounting and Finance, a member of the senior management team, and was an integral part of the negotiation and sale of the company.

Carole graduated from The University of Western Ontario, Canada in 1989, with an Honors degree in Business Administration. There, she was on the Varsity Synchronized Swimming Team that won the National Collegiate Championship team event in 1987. Carole has been a Masters swimmer since 1998, and began competing in triathlons during the 2000 season. Carole has since completed two Ironman triathlons.
