Menlo Swim and Sport offers women's water polo for all experience levels, ages 19 and over. Our team, the Menlo Mavens, is a fun, inclusive, and diverse group with a passion for water polo. Give the game a first-time try or come hone your skills.
The coaching staff brings years of top level play and coaching experience to the Menlo Mavens team. The Mavens coach, John Briscoe, brings an amazing enthusiasm and drive to our team. Our goal is to build a strong and exciting women's water polo program that both introduces new players to the sport and provides professional coaching and challenge for experienced players.
The Menlo Mavens is a Masters women's water polo team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The team includes players with a wide range of experience and ability levels, from first time athletes to veteran players, and an age range from nineteen to over sixty. Keeping with the spirit of the game, it is the goal of the Menlo Mavens to sustain a fun, diverse, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere. Each player should feel challenged to strive for individual as well as team excellence, to integrate competition and sportsmanship, and to celebrate her participation in a community that fosters friendship, good health, and a passion for water polo.
