Summer Pizza and Movie Night 7/28
Saturday, July 28 we'll be showing the movie Happy Feet on the lawn on the air screen under the oak trees. Open Swim is extended to 8:30pm and the movie starts around dusk. Pizza is $1 per slice and there's no extra cost — regular Open Swim fees apply.

Swim meets underway for Menlo Mavericks
July is swim meet month for our summer Mavericks. They're already collecting ribbons and having a ball competing in our low-key community league. Remember that Burgess now hosts two meets this month, so look for early closure of the Performance Pool on the 10th and 19th. >more

Freestyle Technique Clinic
Come work on your freestyle stroke under the expert tutelage of Marc Evans, our one-on-one training guru. Perfect your technique in a small group setting over three consecutive weeks. The July session runs Tue evenings 7-8pm. >more

Swim School is Recruiting Instructors
Parents who are interested in teaching little ones are encouraged to join our Swim School team. You go through our full, paid training program and in addition to regular salary, will receive free pool services and lessons for your family. See Shanni for details, shanni@menloswim.com

MASTERS SWIM

Swim meets are underway for adults as well as kids. A highlight of the season is our Pacific Masters Long Course Championships at UC Santa Cruz this July 6-8. >more

A few of Menlo's open water swimmers will be hopping into Lake Tahoe on July 21 for the annual Trans-Tahoe Relay. Hat's off and good luck to those swimming the 11 miles solo!
